Food Bank Warehousing

This work placement opportunity with Foodbank - Australia’s largest food relief organisation - allows Capable Me participants to gain hands on experience with tasks such as sorting, packaging and labelling various goods in a warehouse environment. You will also learn about essential health and safety practices that are crucial to maintaining a safe working environment, how to operate pallet jacks and other warehouse machinery safely. National Food Institute Administration

As a registered training organisation, work placement at NFI is the perfect place to kickstart your career in this field. During your work placement, you'll have the chance to master essential administrative tasks, such as sorting, filing, and scanning documents. 

You'll learn how to organise and prepare information in both paper and digital formats. You'll also have the opportunity to handle queries over the phone and via email, develop your time management skills, and get hands-on experience scheduling and booking appointments.
